About Sandton CPF

Building safer communities through partnership.

Sandton CPF is the recognised community policing structure serving the Sandton policing precinct, bringing SAPS and the community together to strengthen communication, cooperation and community participation.

Who We Are

Community and police working together.

Sandton CPF provides a structured platform for the community and SAPS to engage on policing, crime and community-safety matters across the Sandton policing precinct.

The Sandton Community Police Forum is a community policing structure established in terms of the South African Police Service Act 68 of 1995.

We bring together residents, businesses and other community stakeholders to strengthen communication, cooperation and collaboration with SAPS across the precinct.

Our partnership with Sandton SAPS extends beyond regular community meetings. We provide community input on policing priorities, operational planning and other matters affecting public safety, helping ensure that local concerns and perspectives are considered.

We also participate in joint operations, social crime prevention initiatives, school programmes and awareness campaigns at shopping centres, retirement homes and other community locations. These activities help us engage directly with residents, promote safety awareness and strengthen relationships between SAPS and the communities we serve.
